Ty & Brittany Fowler Benefit
BBQ Dinner, Country Music and Benefit Auction
I wrote this and advertised it as we do our business and we all 3 have had calls from all over, the stories and the care even from out state has been 100% … I wrote> ‘Benefit set for the TY & Brittany Fowler ATV Accident for Saturday Oct 20th starting around 5:30 PM at the Centerpoint School Cafeteria…A little about the event…Ty and Brittany had just returned home from their wedding and things were off to a great start together with children Cali and Bronx. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, September 2, 2018, their world was turned upside down. An unfortunate Side by Side Accident ejecting all 4 riders.
As for my Son Ty Fowler, Daughter Bailey Fowler and her boyfriend Jan Jacobs, it was a few Broken Ribs, Staples and Stitches. For Ty’s new Bride Brittany, the price came much higher, at age 28, Brittany lost her left leg above the knee. During her hospital stay, Ty never left her side. Upon being released from the hospital, Brittany was sent to rehab at Baptist in Little Rock, again Ty stayed right there day and night resulting in much missed work and no payday.
For Ty and Brittany, life is up and down with good days and some not so good. Brittany is now in the waiting period for her leg to be conditioned for a prosthesis and then it will be back to therapy to learn how to walk. In the past, Brittany’s job included delivering the mail on Saturdays and working in her Clothing Boutique in Hot Springs which she can no longer do.
Being a part time employee, she didn’t have health or accidental insurance. Ty works hard at the sawmill and then heads home to help Brittany with anything she needs and back up the next morning at 3:30 AM to head back to his job that he continuously thanks “God” for just trying to make ends meet and pay what he can. *Helicopter Ride over $22,000, Hospital Bills are piling up and piling up! The ATV insurance company is trying not to pay for the ATV and the payments on the totaled out Side by Side are in access of $600 a month at the bank. The local Wrecker and Storage bill was expensive, and the gouging list goes on and on because everybody thought they had insurance.
