The high online bidder will start the live auction, if no one raises your bid at the live auction; you will win the auction item and be sent an invoice for payment due. Items will be available for pick after payment is made in full. Survey split 50/50 between Buyer/Seller. Final bid approval by Centerpoint School.

 

Amity Intermediate School Facilities, Cafeteria, Meats Lab and Land will be sold as Follows:

Tract #1 Main School Building and Offices

1.50+/- Acres

One-Story Brick building constructed on a concrete slab, metal gable style roof, with single hung windows.  The building is irregular in shape and contains a total of 15,892 sq ft.  The building was constructed in 1954. The interior is divided into twelve (12) classrooms with several measuring about 24’x26’ and 24’x33’, up to the largest at 30’x44’.  There is a central hallway measuring about 10’6” that extends the length of the building.  There are full double door entrances, two in the front and one in the rear. 

There are two restrooms (boys and girls) off the hallway, each with 5 toilets (2 urinals in boys) and had wash sinks.

In addition to the classrooms, there are 5 private offices, nurse station, teachers lounge, and library.  The interior finish consists of vinyl flooring, painted block walls, and suspended acoustical ceilings in aluminum grids.  Ceiling heights are about 8 feet throughout. Interior doors are solid core wood.

There is natural lighting via aluminum windows in each room, as well as plentiful fluorescent light fixtures.  Central forced air units distributed through ceiling ducts provide heating and cooling.

The building is in average condition for the actual age of approximately 63 years, and appears to have has a regular maintenance program.  Room layout is similar to most public schools with a central hallway leading to all classrooms, offices, restrooms and security system.

Tract #2 Cafeteria

0.35+/- Acres

The cafeteria is detached and also used as an auditorium.  The building measures 49’x83’, containing 3,986 sq ft.  The building was constructed in approximately 2000, and in very good condition.

All steel construction with metal siding and roof, built on a concrete slab.  There is a raised loading dock in the front.

The building is divided into a commercial kitchen, and a large open area with a restroom.  There are fixed glass windows on three walls in the dining area, and florescent lighting.  There is on outside entrance into the dining area via a canopy attached to the school, and a front entrance into the kitchen area.

Finish materials include vinyl and tile flooring, sheetrock walls, suspended ceilings in aluminum grids.  There is central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling heights are 8’ throughout.

 Tract #3 Art Building

There is a detached music/art building measuring 30’x66’ containing 1956 sq ft.  The exterior siding is concrete block, composition shingle roof, and constructed on a concrete slab.  There is central heat and air conditioning in this building as well.

Block building measuring 32’x48’ (1536 sq ft.) constructed on a concrete slab.  Formerly utilized as a meat processing training facility including, chutes, meat hangers, and wash area.  The building appears to be structurally sound and in fair condition.  The building is functional for the use it was intended for.  Construction date is unknown, but appears to be in the 1950s or 1960s.
